|I say this often but I promise I mean it EVERY single time: I have the nicest clients, and Meghan and Ricky were among the nicest ever! They were so easy to work with, and throughout the day they probably went out of their way to say “thank you” to me at least five separate times (which is wild because it was ME who was honored to be there!). They all began the day by getting ready at The Dearborn Inn, which is where Meghan and Ricky had their “first look” moment. Meghan was a trooper about heading outside for photos even though it was a bit cold, and we were ecstatic to find gorgeous pink cherry blossoms on some trees nearby to use for photos. After that, their wedding officially began at Lovett Hall, where they did both their ceremony and reception, with some photos inside of The Henry Ford Museum. Their ceremony under the beautiful chuppah by Ruby Slipper Designs was sweet, and their reception room was absolutely stunning with a gorgeous cake by Holiday market. Their parents all sat at the same dinner table, which I thought was extra outstanding considering that some of the parents are divorced and remarried and yet they all seemed to get along like great friends (bravo!!). I’m always extra happy when I see that Chateau is the band because I know it’ll be an awesome dance floor… and it was! Ashley from Festoons and Flourishes did an incredible job with the planning and coordination on the wedding day and I could tell that Meghan and Ricky loved working with her (I did too!). Congrats to this awesome couple!!!
