|Snowflakes fell during both of my April weddings last season, so I was thrilled when the forecast called for upper 60s and sunny for Lauren+Colin’s wedding day! Lauren looked like one of her beloved fairytale princesses, as she was stunning in her classic ball gown and jeweled tiara. I also loved the choice of bridesmaid’s dresses, both the berry color and detail on the back of the gowns. When we arrived at the church, Colin also did not disappoint with his stellar ensemble and before we knew it, these two were married! The wedding party was super fun as we made our way out to the Big House for some portraits, as U of M campus is where these two lovebirds originally met. After soaking up some sunshine here, we headed over to the law quad for more formal shots. Between the architecture, the sunlight and the stunning couple, I was in my element and would have kept them there forever, but we had a party to attend! The wedding party entered the Grand Ballroom at the Inn at St. John’s under a U of M banner and there were a lot of smiles during the toasts, including one from Lauren’s very proud papa. I always admire reception details and thought the décor and flowers by Wouldn't It Be Lovely and cake by Iversen’s looked beautiful. You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day! A big heart felt congratulations to the new Mr.+Mrs.!
