|I absolutely LOVE when I’m hired to shoot the wedding for a sibling of a past bride or groom. Not only do I then know the family, but they trust me even more and allow me to just do my thing. So I was super excited when Tracy and Phil booked me soon after his sister’s wedding last year! In many ways it was a duplicate of his sister’s wedding (same getting ready locations, same church, most of the same vendors, including the awesome With Love Events who did the planning, the same veil, etc.), however in many ways it was also different as Tracy put her own spin on the style and chose The Inn at St. John's as the reception venue. All of the dresses were gorgeous (such unique bridesmaid dresses!), and Tracy looked absolutely stunning in her gown. They could not have gotten luckier with the weather since it was unusually warm and sunny for an early April day. Since there was gorgeous sunshine that was low in the sky and another bridal party already in the courtyard of the Inn at St. John's, I decided on a more natural background over the orange brick that surrounds the exterior of the venue. We then took their photos on the golf course side of the venue and I’m so glad that we did because it matched so well with their style and their stunning flowers, which were done by Blumz. I loved the very personalized reception decor and how the literary theme tied into their careers and passions. It was an all-around amazing day and I’m so happy for these two! Congratulations, Tracy and Phil!
