|Shireen and Joel's winter wedding was the perfect harmony of family, traditions and glitz. Old Saint Mary's is gorgeous on its own but then you add tinsel and twinkle lights from Christmas decorations and this beautiful couple it looked spectacular. With their children by their sides and loved ones from far across the world, Shireen and Joel were surrounded by love as they exchanged their vows. Smiles and tears of joy were abundant as they were pronounced "husband and wife." The Garden Theatre was the perfect setting to continue the celebration after the ceremony. Cocktails were held in the main entryway with strings of lights overhead and a gorgeous rose filled wall. After guests entered the main theater and were seated, Shireen and Joel entered the room by the tradition of Arabic Zaffa. It was incredible. The couple made their grand entrance along with a group of performers in gorgeous attire with ribbons, drums, and dancing. The party had officially started with a bang. I absolutely loved the red + gold details in the reception room, including the beautiful gold dripped cakes + cupcakes by For The Love of Sugar and gorgeous flowers (red roses!!) by Sweet Stems . A delicious strolling dinner and fantastic music performed by Bluewater Kings Band kept the party hopping well into the night.
Congratulations Shireen and Joel. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. I am so happy the two have you have found each other.
