|Rachel and Kyle’s gorgeous wedding day started at the Ren Cen. When I walked into the room I swear you could see Rachel’s smile from a mile away. The ladies looked fabulous and were just finishing up with hair and makeup. The lace dress was already hanging in the window and looked phenomenal with the city views behind it. We were off to a great start. Rachel’s mom and sister helped her get dressed. When I learned of the sentimental value they incorporated into their day I was thrilled. Rachel’s earrings were the same ones worn by her mother for her wedding! After a sweet first look with her dad, he (pretended) to step on her dress, another sentiment from her parents wedding. It was then then time for the first look, one of my favorite moments of the day. I love the emotion and release of stress that happens when they finally see each other and this couple was no exception. They quoted each other with huge smiles and were ready for their special day. The clouds graced us with the perfect amount of shade for all of the outdoor shots. The River Walk, Spirit of Detroit and backside of the DIA Rachel, Kyle and their bridal party rocked it! The remainder of the day was spent at the beautiful Colony Club. A more intimate Ketubah signing with close family and friends was held on the 4th floor. Their ceremony went off without a hitch on the 3rd floor under the most gorgeous Chuppah that was hand knit by their aunt and has also been a part of two other family members weddings. The evening was such a joyous celebration of this wonderful couple. A few heartfelt speeches, delicious food and a whole lot of Rachel and Kyle dancing. A perfect celebration of love.
